Battleship review

ok, now it's time for battleship preview as i promised 2 days ago.. firstly, i don't even know this movie exist so i'm not expecting much out of it.. the opening sequence, it has * from the producer of transformers bla bla bla..* with this incredible sound effect just like transformers.. ok, that was expected.. (btw, i like the sound effect)


i liked the action sequence but not the story which i did found it a little weak..why?? first, about the alien invasion.  as who are they and why they want to  invade earth is not so clear (is just shown in a rapid sequence flashback of an alien, i don't know the human knows it or not). maybe there will be a sequel and they expand their stories..i don't now..


i hate to say this.. it's becoming transformers 3 as a big b*** woman was used as the hero's romantic interest.  please, i'm getting tired of it already.. with this shit of pleasing her father and what not.. it's so annoying.  i expect as a daughter of a fleet admiral she's going to be a tough woman, a fellow navy officer no less, in  war with her daddy.. not a sexy, hey-look-at-my-b*** physiotherapist.. but hey, she did ramming into enemy's lair..i give some credit for that.. (even tough whoever in her position will do that just fine)..


action sequence..superb!! i liked their planning +strategy+teamwork..i feel like i'm watching Gundam with no gundam..  some act sequence are a tad bit ridiculous however (why hopper and nakata want to be at the broken ship highest point before jumping in the water still makes me wonder. it 'll be easier for you to jump and has higher chances of survival if you jump at a lower point!! and they did survive.. unlike those people in the movie titanic, they jumped and died because of the engine's fans or something)


i like Captain Nakata a lot than the hero!! i think i'm the one who smile when he spoke in japanese as there is no subtitle shown (i only understand some simple japanese).  anyways, i like the trapped navy teams lead by both the captains. rihanna, not a bad actress but not a good one either.. something in the middle..she does act a bit cocky..yeah, i know she wants to portray she's one tough chick and whatnot but please be moderate..seems to me she's not living but acting inside the movie!! her toughness is not even close to zoe saldana, let alone angelina jolie or mila jovovich.. maybe she can be better in proper training.. and mr john carter with shorter hair does look good!! :)

one thing i know, i watch this movie because of mr Liam Neeson!! can't wait for Taken 2.. :D

review for wrath of the titans

and.. as i promised, here are the reviews about wrath of the titans.. ok first thing first.. what the heck with sam worthington's hair?? i hate it..i love his clean shaven head.. not those greasy curly hair that doesn't even suit him one bit!! *ehem*, anyways i'm going to talk about the movie, not the handsome sam worthington.


first - is it better than the first.. which part??

i personally think i like the first movie (clash of the titans) more than the new one.. why?? first- sam has no hair, second- previous andromeda is more beautiful than the replacement (so what?? i like to watch beautiful people) third, the story is not that interesting (maybe i do regret buy a ticket for it as i talked in a considerably normal volume just after the movie compared to the high volume to indicate that i'm excited!! )


second - CGI comparation
ok this is hard..as i think both movies have a lot of cgi's and i don't know which one is better.. but one thing i know is that wrath has a lot more cgi's than clash.. i don't know which scene doesn't involve blue/green screen.. 


third - actors
Ares, the god of war supposedly a god to be feared, not a sweet looking god.. i think he definitly not suited as Ares..because from what i saw he is too sweet and kind and i can't feel enough wrath from him..and this movie have less beautiful people... aren't greek people supposed to be beautiful?? *sigh*


fouth - kronos
 i'm not fully understand what kronos want.. is it a destruction of humanity?? to kill zeus?? what??? and it seems like hades revive him for nothing..

lastly, the action sequence is impressive even it is not that great.. maybe it is because of the cgi generated suitable for 3D viewing (i'm watching 2D though)..

well, that's what i can comment for now.. tommorow i'll do battleship..wait for it ok!!

oh my, it's april already!!

ok, its been a long time since i post an entry..since new year..and my new year resolution is to regularly update my blog.. ok, like usual, i don't have enough time to post something but i promise you i will  post at least 1 this month.. maybe tomorrow, after i'm back from my best friend, Armi's solemnization ceremony (Armi, you're getting married girl!!!) anyways, as today is so late and i have so much to say about the new movie "BATTLESHIP",  i'm gonna post about it tomorrow ok.. so please wait  patiently for my review.. well, since i'm going to wake up early this morning, i need to stop now.

movie with girlfriends..

best gile movie marathon with my girlfriends semalam..watched sherlock holmes and mission impossible-ghost protocol..both movies are awesome but i disagree with rotten tomatoes yg cakap MI lagi best..sherlock holmes best lagi kot..hehe..maybe ramai yang tengok SH tak berapa nak paham sebab diorang guna british accent with all the ayat bunga2..salut to RDJ and Jude Law as they both very very good actors..the scenery, costume, action sequence was superb thanks to Guy Ritchie..MI,its a good movie but there is no handsome/beautiful people in there except Mr Cruise of course (rambut Ethan paling x tahan).. adoi..bila xde orang ensem nih annoy me to no end..i love MI:3 lagi sebab ada Jonathan Rhys Mayers and Maggie Q.not to forget Ethan's wife Julia (Michelle Monaghan)..but those action sequence in Dubai is the best..now i can't wait for The Dark Knight Rises pulak next summer... :)
